Collections rotate between bins on different weeks, so the safest way to confirm your exact day is to check the council's bin calendar using your postcode on southlanarkshire.gov.uk.
North Lanarkshire Council
North Lanarkshire covers Motherwell, Wishaw, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Newmains and Cleland, among others.
Again, days vary by street and bin type. North Lanarkshire publishes a postcode bin-day lookup on northlanarkshire.gov.uk so you can confirm yours.
